Additional Application & Program Details

Yes—this program does not provide relocation packages, sign-on bonuses, or retention bonuses, and does not support travel nurse positions.

Your salary and benefits will be competitive and on par with your peers and will not be affected by participation in the program, as this is meant to be an added benefit—though you may be subject to income tax for some or all of the loan payments made by the employer on your behalf. You should consult with a tax professional if you have any questions regarding tax consequences.

You can voluntarily choose to leave the program at any time. If you do so, you are responsible for paying any remaining cost of your loan.

Similarly, if you involuntarily leave the program at any time by violating the terms of your employment (e.g., failing to remain in good academic standing, violating college policy, being found unfit to practice which would result in termination), you will be responsible for any remaining balance of your loan.

You may be subject to income tax for some or all of the loan payments made on your behalf. You should consult with a tax professional if you have any questions regarding the tax implications of employer sponsorship.

No. To be accepted, you must successfully complete each of the above application requirements set by the employer, be formally selected into the program by the employer, and then apply for and be approved for federal loan repayment, the loan program made available through Stride Funding, or both.
